Rain Sheep, a delight for your senses?locally grown, locally processed, and delivered by the shepherds. We are progressive shepherds taking care for the generations, and for our environment. We are Food Alliance Certified. We are concerned about the whole system. We work to optimize the health and productivity of all our inputs and resources (i.e. soils, plants, animals and people). Our farm management directives include: Weed and pest control through grazing management Recycling plant and animal residues Water management Soil conservation Soil fertility management All of which enhances our ability to provide a balanced nutrient supply for plant and animal. Our primary goal to raise healthy, productive sheep, in a sustainable way, utilizing animal welfare practices. Simply stated, we provide our sheep with a clean healthy environment to thrive and grow in?with as much sunshine and fresh air as possible.
