I love coming here. There are so many things to look at and drool over. Beautiful kimonos, dishes, gadgets, papers, totoro toys...

The absolute best place to get really beautiful origami paper is the Japanese mall at Porter, in the same building as the gap. They have tons of beautiful stuff ranging from basic to super fancy schmancy. Be careful or the money will fly out of your wallet. I know because it happened to me at Christmas time. But I had a lovely origami tree.

While you are there eat sushi at the sushi bar and get some wasabi peas at the little Japanese grocery store. They have a cheap parking lot behind the building.
