"1989 - The White Trash Debutantes first debuted at San Francisco's Covered Wagon Saloon at a birthday party for PUNK GLOBE Editor and Debutante Ginger Coyote. Soon they were invited to play with the likes of Debbie Harry, Bebe Buell, Ronnie Spector, Lemmy Kielmeister and The Ramones at Joey Ramone's Circus Of The Perverse party in New York City.

The band quickly landed their first record deal and released "San Francisco" on Alternative Tentacles, produced by Billy Gould (Faith No More). Later, a follow-up track "Cheap Date" was released on Teen Rebel Records. The following year, Desperate Attempt Records released "Crawl For It" and soon after that Helter Skelter Records released a split 12" with Vancouver's The McKrackins."
