My first apartment in New York City. It was a funky rehabbed 3-bedroom on the 6th floor of a 6-floor walkup. I had great calves as a result of climbing all of those stairs and also didn't want to leave very much. My room was a box built on the roof with a deck outside. That was pretty cool, until someone broke in and then torched all of my stuff. I lost everything I owned. Oh well, it makes for a great NYC story. I still remember the great views we had and watching the sun rise over Brooklyn and the East River.
