We noticed these two flags on homes directly facing one another and couldn't help but wonder if they might be symbols of some kind of bigger neighborly dichotomy.

Happy Flag



Happy Flag lives at the tip top of his very own, real-life, free-standing flagpole. He waves proudly from the corner of Harvard Place and Harvard Street. His house has columns on its front porch!

Sad Flag



Sad flag lies tangled around its pathetic, fallen, cheap-ass broomstick of a flag pole, supported by a grimy old pvc awning over a modest stoop.
