Description:
Here's how to get to the Hostel from Union Station, Portland's Amtrak station.

• Walk one block south on NW 6th Ave to NW Hoyt St
  
• Take a right on Hoyt and walk one block west to NW Broadway.
  
• Board Bus #9 (Powell), pay $1.70 and grab a bus transfer
  
• Get off at SW 3rd and Alder
  
• Cross SW 3rd and walk one block east to SW 2nd and Alder
  
• Use your transfer to take Bus #14 (Hawthorne to 94th and Foster) to SE 30th and Hawthorne, one stop past the Safeway on the right
  
• Get off at 30th, and walk across the street to 3031 SE Hawthorne

(If you don't mind walking a 15 minute walk, you can skip bus #9 and just walk down to the 2nd and Alder stop for the #14.)
