Around the corner from Hawthorne is Chance of Rain café, a favorite of both our guests and our staff.

Chance of Rain is owned and operated by a half-dozen twentysomethings, and they offer organic and Fair Trade coffee, beer, organic juice, sandwiches, soups and dessert. There's a brunch menu on the weekends, and downtempo DJs for their special Downtempo Brunch of Sundays.

The place has a really chill atmosphere, and the staff and patrons are a bunch of characters. There's free wifi, and it's the sort of place you can just hang out in for as long as you want.
