Description:
Powell's is the largest independent bookstore in the country, so large it's called the City of Books. It fills an entire city block between NW 10th and 11th Avenue downtown, and it's three stories tall.

There's also a café inside that's so busy you'll usually have random strangers sitting down at your table with their books and their coffee, and they have free wifi.
