This is the first location of Stitch DC here in the capital city. It's conveniently located near a Metro stop (Eastern Market Metro Station) in a lovely area of the city - down the street from the Eastern Market flea & farmer's market, and across the street from the Marine Corps Barracks. The storefront is charming, with a beautiful window display, and the store itself is filled with a wide variety of yarns. (The other two locations - in Georgetown and Chevy Chase - carry slightly different stock.) There are two rooms separated by a pretty courtyard and connected by a long hallway. I highly recommend making a day of it - the Market is a great deal of fun to browse on a lazy weekend morning or afternoon, with a not-so-quick stop at the LYS!
