Knit and Stitch = Bliss is (another) one of my LYS here in the DC area. It's located upstairs above a Starbucks, conveniently located very close to the Bethesda Metro station. They have a fairly large space with yarn-filled shelves lining the walls. Good selection, friendly staff.

One great thing is that the store keeps a computer database of registered customers' purchases, which makes it easy to retrieve information if/when needed. For example, when I recently needed to purchase an additional skein of yarn to complete a project, the store was able to pull up a log of my purchase on the computer and set aside for me a skein of yarn from the same dye lot.
