This is the struggle i go through at about 6:30 every day. The struggle to get that meal deal. Every day at 5:30 i walk from my room to the Ondine to get food. But the adventure is the walk from my room to the Ondine. I go through the massive dead valley, where there are no trees and the sun is still in the air and hits you hard and hot. Then there is the park blocks, where the weird people come out, specifically the people who want to know if you are a registered voter. Then there is the crosswalk, where you are able to cross without seeing the White Man but when the red hand is seeable. And finally the walk up the treacherous hill that is in front of the Ondine where you have no idea what’s going to hit you from the windows above. And the destination is reached when you finally reach where you are looking for; FOOD. And by this time you are starving so it was all worth it.

I know it's unbelievable to hear about this struggle that I and my friends go through everyday. But me and my friends are strong and we are still standing.
