De Kuip is the home ground of Feyenoord. The stadium was designed by architects Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. The stadium was build in 10 months and finished on 23 July 1936. The first game, which as a test match for the stadium, was played in 27 March 1937: Feyenoord - Beerschot (5-2). The first real match was played on 2 May 1937: the Netherlands - Belgium (1-0). Since 1937 the Dutch national football team played more than 100 matches in the Kuip, moreover many European cub finals (10) were played in De Kuip and the stadium was host of the final of Euro 2000.
