Waikiki has a population density rivaling Tokyo, tourists from all over the world frantically trying to relax before they have to head home. It's easily overwhelming.

But walk Diamondhead (east) for twenty minutes, and you find small, secluded beach parks with no one at all on them, where they need signs to say "No climbing trees or nude sunbathing allowed," because such things evidently happen enough for the authorities to consider it a problem.
