Open to anyone willing to challenge themselves to go vegetarian or vegan for a week. Win prizes and help create a healthier, greener, kinder world. The biggest Challenge of the year is held annually in March when there are special events, publicity, and lots of prizes.

The Annual Vegetarian Food Fair
Held each year in early September at Harbourfront Centre, this huge free celebration has grown to attract well over 12,000 people! Don't miss it!

The Vegetarian Directory
This free publication printed each September is distributed city-wide. It lists restaurants, stores, cooking classes and more.

We offer a wide range of vegetarian information – restaurant listings, events, articles, fact sheets, recipe links, and much more.

Resource Centre
Over 500 titles of books and cookbooks, plus magazines, DVDs and videos available for viewing or loan. There is also a good range of free literature and one of the largest selections of vegetarian books for sale in Toronto – over 100 titles. Open Mondays and Wednesdays 6-9 pm and Saturdays from 1-4 pm.
