Description:
InterFuse is a yearly, three day camping oriented event held in Missouri that upholds the ideals of the Burning Man Festival. It is a Midwest Regional Burn, similar to other Regional Burns held throughout the world every year. This year's InterFuse will be held May 5-7, 2006 at Camp Ozark Avalon - located in Boonville, Missouri, off I-70 between Kansas City and St. Louis.
The goal of InterFuse is to unite the scattered Burners and pre-Burners of the Midwest in the flames of this celebration of Art, Fire, and Life - further spreading the unique Burning Experience through the region.
Like at Burning Man, we will build a temporary city-community of tents, domes, light, dance, fire and music in the wilderness (in this case the forest, not the desert). We will celebrate our diversity continuously from Friday until Sunday morning. Then we will dismantle our city and Leave No Trace.
