Boone rushes to Sydney from California to rescue Shannon. He thinks that Sannon is in trouble with a bad boyfriend and he goes to Sydney to buy the boyfriend off.
It turns out that Shannon was conning Boone to get money, but then it turns out that the boyfriend was conning Shannon.
The complex con is a huge recurring theme in the show in general.
Anyhow, Shannon shows up drunk at Boone's hotel room and blows the brother/sister facade totally out of the water by jumping Boone. The next day she says she wants to pretend nothing ever happened. Nice!
