Spacious park located at the foot of Diamond Head. It was here where the May 6, 2006 celebration, "Salute to the Troops" was held. During the free festivities, I watched a military parade comprised of troops recently returned from Iraq and even shook hands with Governor Linda Lingle. Most notably, I experienced the visceral music prodigy that is John Legend (who graciously performed for 1.5 hrs)! Good times were had.
