Ancestral home of John Heinrich and Anna (Scheidemann) Semmelroth, my gggg grandparents. Their son, Sebastian married Melissa Gigh (in Germany? the US?). They settled in upstate New York in the mid-19th century where my gg grandmother, Elizabeth was born in 1848 (in Rochester). Elizabeth married Henry Knott in 1866 in Niles, MI. and they had 4 girls.
