Description:
This restaurant evokes the quintessential Waikiki experience and is themed around the legendary Hawaii sports icon, Duke Kahanamoku, who is attributed to making Surf a global phenomenon. They have a rather limited menu -- mostly local catch -- but the salad bar's pretty decent. You're bound to feel Blue Hawaii nostaligic as you come under the spell of the musical female trio that wanders from table to table playing Hawaiian-tinged diddies.
Best Feature: It's right on the beach.
Recommendations: Make reservations (aiming for a time right before sunset)! Otherwise, brace yourself for a very long wait. Drinks are off tha chain!
