Blue Ridge Biofuels Is a worker/community owned business with the objective of bringing education and locally produced clean burning biodiesel to Asheville and Western North Carolina. We currently supply western North Carolina's only biodiesel pump and deliver bioheat as a replacement to #2 heating oil. Our distributed biodiesel will soon be produced from area restaurants' waste vegetable oil and burns cleanly in any diesel engine. Contrary to popular belief, no modification is necessary to use biodiesel in your diesel vehicle or your home furnace. Biodiesel can also replace the home heating oil or kerosene in your home furnace or monitor heater. BRB currently sells biodiesel at a local gas station (Gas-Up) located at 405 Haywood Road in West Asheville, as well as delivering bulk bio-fuels to homes and businesses.
