It had a stream in the backyard, complete with a swamp and little fish and the occasional eel. We'd follow it to the Navesink River, and on the way we'd swing on the rope swing. Part of my idyllic childhood. I think it's all overgrown now, and people don't let their kids go there because they're afraid of Lyme disease. My kids don't have the freedoms I had...
