Description:
The National University of Ireland asked us over for the day in 2007. We met some great people, hopefully provided some useful advice and had a lovely day out-complete with a guided tour of the famous Galway Bay. The James Hardiman Library at NUI is a splendid example of modernist brutalist architecture and is like a glass cube suspended in a concrete frame. Sadly the staff did not like it, but we adored it.
