The weekend crowd at Cahoots runs from an impressive turnout of off-duty musicians and their hangers-on to a wall-to-wall thicket of every kind of Louisville resident on record. On such evenings, once you flash your ID at the door, you run smack into a snaking line of patrons negotiating the narrow hall on the right that leads from the front bar past the restrooms, cigarette machine and ATM.
