Description:
The Smell is an all ages music venue happening in Downtown Los Angeles, California. It is a volunteer-run space with no employees or profit of any kind. On almost any night of the week one can come to The Smell and be part of an intimate performance by local and touring musicians. Most shows cost five dollars. Although there is a proper stage with adequate sound system and lighting, bands choose to play all over the club - from behind the stage to the front desk, from the bathroom to the parking lot. Aside it's primary function as a live music and performance art space. Enter through the alley.
