I read a great review about this restaurant. However, I found the entire dining experience at the Sandbar fell short of expectations. My salmon burger was so dry I had to drink copious amounts of water just to swallow it. The service was slow and indifferent, even though the lunch crowd was sparse. The atmosphere was lacking something memorable. It was sterile - not cozy or hip or even eclectic. I would skip this restaurant and dine instead at the nearby Granville Public Market for much less money and much more atmosphere.
