On a hot, sunny summer day, it seems every local discovers this one beach. It is CROWDED and the place to see and be seen in an otherwise unpretentious city. Expect to fight over space to lay out a blanket in the summer. There's a great playground slide for the kids. A short walk away find Denman Street and hot dog stands.
