I usually avoid big department stores when I'm traveling, but the HBC is an historic landmark in the Pacific Northwest. This is Canada's (and the Northwest's) oldest department store. Don't spend too much time here, since it is just a modern-day store, but do consider going home with a classic wool point blanket as a souvenir. Just be forewarned - they are very expensive!
