We spent a full day here exploring the decommissioned fort that was once part of the coastal defense system. The movie An Officer and A Gentleman was filmed here, so everything feels eerily familar! We toured the Commanding Officer's House, strolled along the beaches, and ducked into the spooky abandoned gun emplacements. Kids love running around the place with a flashlight, even "big kids" like us! There are also a youth hostel and camping sites here for all you budget-minded folks.
