Description:
In the summer of 92-93, instead of driving to work one beautiful sunny day, I had biked to work. Unknowingly, my girlfriend decided to drive into town to see me for the last time without letting me know ahead of time. When I came home to discover the note under the door saying that she tried to see me, I cursed myself for the bad luck of just missing her but also the fear that she had the impression I was hiding in my apartment since my car was parked in the front (I hardly go anywhere without my car). I tried multiple times to call her but would always miss her. As expected, shortly after that day, she moved out of the state. The note she left under my door was the last message that was ever said between the two of us. It still troubles me that I didn't have the chance to wish her well and to tell her that she can still count on me as a friend wherever she might be. For that I am sorry. This is not the closure I wished to end on after 4 wonderful years together. We knew our paths would invariably diverge in different paths early on because of the different stages in life we were at.
