after a tornado hit on May 4th, 2007 and completely demolished the town, the city decided to rebuild GREEN. a fitting choice for a town called Greensburg. Being in Kansas there was a lot of push-back from some of the residents. It's an amazing transformation that you can follow on facebook http://www.facebook.com/greensburgkansas
