First held in 1993, this is the largest and best beer festival in B.C. Over 45 craft brewers from across Canada, Belgium, and the Pacific Northwest are represented with six local restaurants and caterers providing food; there is also live musical entertainment. More than 7,000 people attend on the first Friday and Saturday after Labour Day. Many brewers serve cask ale. Tickets sell out quickly, especially for Saturday; you cannot buy tickets at the door. So to ensure you get the tickets you want, you need to buy them early.
