Firefly has a good beer selection and, of the liquor stores that offer the best beer choice in the city (on this map), they have the lowest prices. All of their beer is stored in a walk-in cooler and is arranged by flavour -- bitter-hoppy, caramel, citrus, etc. If you are a regular or a CAMRA member, you will qualify for their loyalty discount programme. Firefly regularly offers beer tastings on Fridays and Saturdays, sometimes with cheese supplied by Mount Pleasant Cheese on Cambie Street, beside the Park Theatre.
