First Annual "Drive The Bus" World Music & Festival -
produced by Gigi, Tropic Heat Studios and StormFront Records, Storm Front Music, BMI ~ one Island woman's vision.
"I'm a 4th generation Virgin Islander - homesick. Our culture is..diverse and united at once - everyone's on the
same rock - so we create celebrations that bring the flavor of each and every culture to the table - dancing, music, cultural exhibits, vendors, adults, children, a few donkeys too and chickens, goats :-) If it rains, there's usually a rainbow. If it pours, we thank God for the rainwater that fills our wells/cisterns and nourishes the fruit and flowers of our island. And we dance in the rain.
In honor of the spirit of cultural diversity that allows all of us to express and experience the adventure that life on this planet were meant to be...I'm throwing a party. My kind of party - a peace party, a family and friends party, a come and meet us party....relax, chill-out, laugh, dance, or just sit and watch the shows and meet....new friends.
Welcome to my new home...Chattanooga ~ the best of all worlds I have seen along the way, the place I've chosen - not just because of the beauty of this place - but mostly, because of the beauty of the people here. A place I like to say, "has hope"...I found it here, and I rediscover it daily......here. And I expect you will too -
