Description:
At a friend's house on the Chiah (a Shia neighborhood that's about 75 percent Amal) side of the former Green Line, I took the pictures here on the first day of the strike. They show the smoke from burning tires looking in the direction of the airport road and the Green Line itself. Across the street is Ain er Remmeneh, a predominately Christian neighborhood.
