Description:
a group of elderly carob trees surrounding the corner of national and veteran. The carob pods can be eaten raw, exxcept for the hard seeds. They are known to harbor the chicken of the woods fungus varieties that are usually edible. Make sure you get a positive identification before consuming any fungi.
