Description:
This is the location of the original homestead of the Williams brothers who founded Williamston in the 1830s. This land was farmed by them, including what is now the Brookshire Golf Course, and later developed as the agrarian center of the community. See places such as the water powered grist mill and history plaza for more information about The Williams brothers and their contributions to the community.
