i was working on my much neglected garden this morning and decided to order lunch from zov's, but when i got into my car, the battery was dead. ack! i was going to walk there but a neighbor gave me a ride. i worried that the tagine might sit out too long if i didn't get there in time, but i was happy to see they didn't take it off the stove until i got there and then boxed it. the lamb was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, the rice pilaf was perfectly cooked. this is why i like zov's - and now that they just opened another location right outside my place, i've been there 3 times already this week. this was the first entree i had to judge the cooks there and i'm please to say they've met my expectations. i wish they had the roasted rack of lamb on the menu because that was best lamb dish from the original location. the best lamb in oc, really. now i just need a jump start...
