A cute little Shetland Pony. This one is on a ring right next door to our house - we put it out with our neighbors permission. We can see it from our front window and I know that the kids going to school at Cedarwood will get a kick out of it. This is part of a project going on for the last year in Portland (http://horseproject.home.comcast.net/) and we thought we would do our part.

Our neighbor grew up in our house (purchased in the 1930's) and she remembers a man coming to deliver vegetables with a horse and wagon and he would tie his horse to this very ring. A part of Portland's vibrant history.
