Description:
A rowan berry (Sorbus aucuparia) tree: "With five to seven pirs of narrow, serrated leaves per shoot and a final leaf growing straight out of the tip, rowan trees resemble small leaved sumacs. Their flashy fruits, called sorbs, hang in dense clusters and are so vibrant they look as if they're made of plastic or porcelain. Rowan fruit varies greatly in color and flavor from species to species and tree to reee.... Rowans typically blaze with orgage, red, or (rarely) yellow sorbs from midsummer through late autumn..."
