Description:
I was visiting Portland from NYC, was so stoked on the big bowl, and the my little nephew was now a skater. It was a few days after xmas, and I took him to the park to skate and hang out.

I was trying to do a fakie pop drifter over the bowl's hip from the deep end to the shallow. The board just kept floating away from me. I gave it one last go, stumbled and landed with my leg fully extended and knee locked (really bad idea).

I couldn't skate for 3 years after that injury. That was like almost 4 years ago.
