The Barbakan: a Chorlton institution. Once an excellent Polish bakery and delicatessen, it's now a wide-ranging and innovative bakery, deli, sandwich shop and cafe - and they still do the Polish specialities (mmm, cheesecake). If you've never shopped at the Barbakan, you must never have been to Chorlton.
