Location, location, location: Doryman's Inn is smack among the rows of bars by Newport Pier, and in six of the 11 rooms you can gaze out at the ocean and watch teens flirt and roll by on beach cruisers all day. The hotel feels tucked away, with its narrow entrances and its location above 21 Oceanfront restaurant - the entrance to one staircase is camouflaged by wallpaper and a gilded mirror.
