Marshfield resident and author, Jan Bornstein, will be appearing at Bev Loves Books on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, to launch her recently published book, “Beyond Beautiful” (released December 2006 from Back Channel Press).

In her new book, author Jan Bornstein chronicles the intimate relationship of two rock ‘n roll superstars conquering their painful pasts as they travel the path to real love. The novel depicts a side of celebrities we often don’t see — the private person, so carefully kept hidden beneath the glitz and glamour.

In her novel, Bornstein, a registered nurse and home care educator, also explores the mental and emotional impact of sexual abuse as one of her characters deals with emerging childhood memories during her journey of self discovery.

The book signing event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bev Loves Books in the Plumb Corner Mall, 565 Rounseville Road in Rochester.
