Description:
Seating is either inside in a dark, deep, narrow dining room or on a small patio that sits along Glassell. If the weather is comfortable, hope for an outside table, especially if you catch it at that time of day when the sun is wilting away and the first moments of evening arrive with an embracing breeze. There may not be a better table in the county at that moment. Particularly if you have before you Panuchos de Yucatan, essentially three sliders of perfect chunks of pork on tortillas, an icy margarita and ceviche, a bowl of unrestrained flavor, full of tart citrus, sweet mango, bite of fish, red onion and cilantro. If you forgo the margarita, do not deny yourself the horchata here. It's sweet, creamy and full of cinnamon. Be warned, they do run out.
