For wildflower lovers, Annadel Park offers a great variety of flowers from early Spring until early Summer, especially on a hike around Lake Ilsanjo. The best months to see the park's wildflowers are April and May, but there are some plants in bloom as early as January and as late as September.

Fishing Lake Ilsanjo offers excellent fishing for black bass and bluegill. Black bass weighing nine pounds and more have been caught here. A purple plastic worm is a favored bait for the bass, while the bluegill favor garden worms, small crayfish, and grubs. If you are 16 years of age or older, you must have a California fishing license. Ledson Marsh dries up by late August or early September and so no fish are found there.

Howarth Park is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (PDT) and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (PST) with extended hours for night lighted facilities or groups with an authorized use permit issued by the Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department. Boat rentals and the amusement rides are in operation Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the summer season. During the spring and fall months, they are open weekends only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting).

Our grapes are grown in the world-class regions of Sonoma County. They are aged from 18- 24 months in new French oak and American oak barrels. With an outstanding growing season in Sonoma Valley, we are primarily producing vintages from two appellations: Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. Some special vintages hail from the Sonoma Coastal appellation of Green Valley micro area. Also in 2002 we released an excellent Merlot from Rutherford, adding Napa Valley to our repertoire. We also created our first Vino Blanco in 2003, an Italian White called Tocai Friulano. Our case production started at 200 cases in 1998 and is still a modest 2,300 in 2005, which allows us to keep our artisan style of winemaking.

Our wines have received reviews from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast, Connoisseurs Guide and Pinot Report as well. Our List of Awards grows, as we make new wines each year and as our wine ages. Our 2002 Pinot Noir recently received its 1st Gold Medal from the Dallas Wine Competition. We have received numerous gold medals for our Pinot wines as well as Zinfandels and Cabernet Sauvig
