I had this salad today and it's very good! It has shredded mango, chicken, lettuce, carrot, and chicken with chopped tomatoes, basil, cilantro, peanuts. Everything tastes very fresh, a perfect seasonal salad.

It's a carry out salad place. You stand in a line (usually short). Someone behind the counter constructs your salad. You pick your greens. You pick two veggies. You pick a protein. You pick a crunch. And you pick a dressing. Clean, fast, fresh, and will cost $7 or $8 without a drink. Efficient, friendly staff. A true carryout -- no indoor seating, a few seats outdoors. Persians have a wonderful potato chicken salad that's mayonnaise-based and yet not heavy. Kassra makes a very good version of it, chunky with white-meat chicken and diced potatoes. For $6, it's a perfect meal.

(503) 233-3996 the chicken is highly seasoned with tons of cumin, the pico de gallo is not drenshing the whole salad, the jalapenos are zesty (could have used more) and the whole thing is topped with a spicy cole slaw. dressing choices are good, although i can only recall the chipotle lime , which was perfect and not overwhelming. i think it was around $8.

awesome "healthy fast food" - no oil cooking: airbaked fries, burgers not grilled in grease (and "humane meat" at that), smoothies, salads, wraps - the crispy thai trout wrap is my personal fave!!! fun ambiance to hang out & eat in, or for take-out. while it is not hard-core-vegan style healthy eating by any stretch, it IS a great option when you need a quick lunch that's on the healthy side!

Seems like a bad idea to only deal in salads, but this is California and healthy sells. Salads are a good portion for the $8 (with the toppings) they charge and the toppings are really varied. You choose a meat - ahi tuna, steak, chicken, etc..., the base lettuce, and various toppings - corn, garbanzo beans, green onions, avocado, various cheeses, etc. You get the picture. What you get in the end is enough to satisfy your hunger and not feel guilty about the calories you just wolfed down.
