We raise Natural grass-fed lamb, raised on pasture with no feed additives or growth hormones. Lambs are raised with their mothers until a natural weaning occurs. Sheep are handled humanely from birth to slaughter. Breeding program utilizes the Texel sheep breed, known for producing meaty, well muscled lamb with a large loin eye and leaner meat to fat ratio than many other breeds resulting in a higher yield carcass with less waste.
Tags: conventional, pastureraised

Map this on Platial

Country Pride Dairy Farm

Country Pride Farm is a small 8 acre goat dairy located in the Ridgefield/Battle Ground area. We raise registered Nubian goats and milk an average of 50-60 does during the season. Because of the breed of goat and their diet, our cheese does not have that "goaty" flavor often found in many goat cheeses.
Tags: no spray, pastureraised, gmofree

Map this on Platial

Natural Fine Lamb Company

We simply couldn't compete with large industrial farms if we weren't able to market our lambs directly to you, the customer. You get a high-quality, hand-selected product and we are able to do what we love, produce high-quality Lamb. People have asked why we feel so strongly about supporting small family farms. The number one reason is quality. The second most important reason is knowing the meat you eat is produced humanely and with VERY low environmental impact. In fact, we have been working with wheat farmers in Eastern Oregon to provide natural weed control on fields that are rotated out of planting for the year. This creates a positive environmental impact by providing natural weed-control while the sheep and lambs get fat. The next time you buy lamb or beef from you local market or restaurant, ask where it is from. We have found 99% of the markets and restaurants we ask have no idea where or how the meat they serve/sale was raise or processed. We are working hard to increase awareness of how your meal was produced and who produced it. When you buy lamb from us, you know where, who and how it was produced. And you have our guarantee of a high-quality product.
Tags: pastureraised, gmofree

Map this on Platial

Two Rivers Farm

Two Rivers Farm produces organically certified crops, raised sustainably and humanely. We are members of Slow Food, attended Terra Madre as delegates, and are leaders of our new local convivium. We enjoy good food and believe in sustainable local food systems. We believe in seasonal eating and believe that in the US in particular our culture is at risk of losing the joy of the table. We raise a wide range of produce, herbs and berries. Our orchards and vinyards will be productive in 2007. We sell mainly to chefs because we have a preference to sell to those who focus on and appreciate good food. We have a small CSA where we direct market our "kitchen garden" produce and herbs and our lamb. We raise hundreds of varieties in our kitchen garden to supply our own culinary interests. Our farm is a beatiful catering venue situated on the banks of the Icicle and Wenatchee Rivers, and we are open to occasional farm tours with advance notice.
Tags: certified organic, free range, pastureraised, gmofree

Map this on Platial
