As we enter the 21st century, the vision for the CHC is to be the hub for California Studies in the Santa Clara Valley. We are developing a dynamic, multidisciplinary, California Studies program which includes new courses, a yearly conference for students, staff and community, and a variety of other events and activities. The hope is to provide a place where students, faculty, staff, and community can enter into dialog and grapple intellectually with what California means, what it is and what it can become; in other words to educate the residents of this state to be informed, participating citizens in determining California's future."
