林田山原本是一座個有著溫泉旅館的小小山村，在1926年日本人興建林田山鐵路，成為台灣重要伐木林場後，被日本人稱為摩里沙卡，成為一座重要伐木林場，到了國府接收後，繼續伐木事業，到了1960年代，山上更聚集二千多人，遠比山下小鎮更為熱鬧，但是和其它伐木山城一樣，林田山伐木結束後，開始一段漫長的荒村歲月，居民大量搬遷，房舍漸漸坍毀，沒有多少人記得林田山。最近幾年，林田山十分風光，成為花東地區的旅遊重鎮，居民也思考從生態旅遊角度，開創林田山的另一個高峰，讓林田山在社區發展上，成為一種標竿，吸引許多遊客與社區團隊前往拜訪。但是，居民開創出林田山的繁華之後，實際並未讓當地居民走向永續，卻讓他們面臨被迫辦遷的命運，最近一紙整理國有財產的公文，切割開居民與土地的關係，讓居民恐慌，他們心中依戀的故鄉，其實是國有財產的宿舍，無論居住多久，為這塊土地努力多少，他們永遠寄人籬下，他們是一群沒有未來的人。林田山在沒落中走向興盛，居民努力的心血，國家全數收割，將生活社區改為遊樂園區，甚至守了數十年的老房子，一夕拆除重建，就以促進觀光發展的名義，讓一個古老社區成為新穎遊樂地。 ●本文轉載自公共電視台「我們的島」節目

華山園區前身為「台北酒廠」，創設於日治時期大正5年（西元1916年），原為民營芳釀株式會社酒造廠，專製清酒、蝴蝶蘭、人參酒；大正11年（西元1922年），由日治政府予以收買，以製造米酒及各種再製酒為主；光復後政府接收改名為台灣省專賣局台北酒工廠。早年生產價格低廉、以樹薯為原料的「太白酒」成為一般民眾日常消費的最愛，大約從五十年代中期，米酒的產量逐漸增加，研發各種水果酒，開始了台北酒廠的黃金時代，甚至獲得「水果酒工廠」的稱號。現有烏梅酒廠、高塔區（品控、化驗、試驗室）、米酒作業場、四連棟（紅酒貯藏庫）、行政大樓、果酒大樓、再製酒作業場、維修工廠、蒸餾室、鍋爐室（汽罐室）、煙囪 The “Taipei Winery” was first established in 1916 (5 th Year of the Taisho Period) during the Japanese colonial period as the privately owned Houjou winery which made rice wine, the “Butterfly Orchid” sake, and ginseng liqueur. In 1922 (11 th Year of the Taisho Period) the Japanese Government purchased the winery as part of its alcohol monopoly policy, and began expanding the winery for producing rice wines and other double-distilled liqueurs. In 1945 the Taipei Winery transferred to the control of the Taiwan Tobacco & Wine Monopoly Bureau . The winery began developing various kinds of fruit liqueurs, and even became known as the “Fruit Wine Factory”. Memories from the past including how soot from the chimneys drifted down on workers after their morning exercise and the showing of movies in the Fruit Wine Hall. These and other workers' tales have all left their impression on the surroundings, a testament to a time when “The Winery was Home”. In 1987, due to the pressures of urban development, the winery was relocated to its current location at the Linkou Industrial Park in Taipei County. The old site was then simply abandoned.

馬祖列島燕鷗保護區，是全世界第4次觀察紀錄，而且是世界唯一繁殖紀錄，估計數量至少有8隻、4個巢位，而且每巢各有一隻幼鳥順利成長，黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗被世界鳥類紅皮書中列為「瀕臨滅絕」等級與黑面琵鷺同一等級、但數量更少，概估全球數量少於100隻。黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗英名︰Chinese Crested Tern 法名︰Sterne d'Orien 德名︰Bernsteinseeschwalbe 學名︰Thalasseus bernsteini 形態特徵嘴黃色，嘴前端帶有黑色；羽色為淡淡的灰色，不同於鳳頭燕鷗的灰黑色，黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗更雪白些。停棲時，翼尖約與尾等長。額頭頂有一大片白色，似禿頭，頭兩端有些許黑色。生態習性是鷗科鳥類中最稀少的一種，自1863年被命名以來，比較確定的觀察紀錄只有五筆，十年前已絕跡。直到公元兩千年在馬祖列島燕鷗保護區，發現其繁殖紀錄，這是世界第一次發現其有繁殖紀錄的地方。目前世界僅存不到一百隻，由於數量稀少，瀕臨絕種，且經常混雜在鳳頭燕鷗鳥群中，不易觀察，因此又名「神話之鳥」。棲地分布馬祖列島、八掌溪口曾發現其蹤跡。 Chinese Crested Tern protectorate

位於台南市安平的三級古蹟原英商德記洋行，在一百多年後可望由台南市府委託德記洋行股份有限公司再次經營。 Tait & Co. was founded in 1867 (Tongtze 6th Year, Ching Dynasty) in Haitoushe, Anping, trading opium, camphor and sugar. After Taiwan was ceded to Japan in 1895 (Guangsui 21st Year, Ching Dynasty), the sale of opium and camphor became a government franchise, and the number of foreign companies decreased. Moreover, as Anping Port was silted up and affected the normal operations of local waterways, many foreign companies were closed, except Tait & Company. The office of Tait & Co. is 200 feet long and 120 feet wide. Together with the Bain & Co., Bovd & Co., Julius Mannich & Co., and Wright & Co., they were known as the top five foreign companies in Anping. As they were built in Western style, they looked different from local buildings in traditional Fujian style. Moreover, they are the witnesses of foreign trade in Taiwan. 安平古堡是台灣歷史最悠久的城堡，最初的安平古堡是荷蘭人建造的熱蘭遮城，又稱奧倫治城，城分內城和外城，內城3層；有長官公署、瞭望台、教堂、士兵營房，並高懸荷蘭國旗，是行政的核心所在。1873年英國軍艦船砲命中城內軍火庫引發爆炸，城牆炸毀，之後變成廢墟。磚石一度成為居民修築房舍、清廷建造億載金城的建材。日據時代，原有的城垣被剷平，改建成今日所見的日式海關宿舍與紅磚平台，荷式城堡的樣子已經看不出來了。 This place is the fortress that the Hollander sets up in 1624. There are a lot of ancient old historic relics in neighborhood and have a lot of delicious foods.

17世紀荷蘭人來台為防止暴動，便修築普羅民西亞[Provintia]城城堡，Provintia 荷文為永恆之意。建築高為10公尺半以糖水、糯汁攪拌貝殼灰，糊紅磚砌成，為四方形的城堡，在東北與西南角各有兩座凸出的菱堡。咸豐年間在城堡舊址上開始出現中國式的樓閣建築。官府再把殘城高度鑿切一半，回填台基，建起「海神廟」，現在的赤崁樓呈現的則是，荷式城堡遺跡與清式樓閣建築共存。 It is the city that the Hollander sets up originally here.Start afterwards on the original city constructing a Chinese type building.

這裡是日治時期日軍在台灣設立的軍醫院，戰後成立八O四醫院，近年醫院遷離，成功大學爭取成為力行校區，整修後將有系所遷入。曾經是醫院又有一段時間沒使用，裡面還是有點恐怖，倒是很適合拍照的地方。 It was a military hospital built by the Japanese Army during the Japanese Colonization.

保安車站 Baoan station

可愛的小車站，車站建築使用阿里山檜木和日本黑瓦建成，主結構以榫接方式建造而成完全不使用鐵釘。台鐵於一九九三年宣布永久保存保安車站原貌，目前購票口前的隔欄、候車室的木質長椅都是舊物。 This is an old station. The station still keeps old appearance today.
