        Ancestral home of my gg grandfather, Henry Knott. He immigrated to the US on the Ship Attilie on 15 March 1861 (approximately) and settled in Niles, MI. He married Elizabeth Semmelroth Wahl in 1866. They had 4 daughters, one of whom, Louise, married Henry Bluhm in 1907 in Michigan City, IN. 

Henry was a Civil War Veteran with Company E 12th Michigan Infantry.

        The ancestral home of the Brinkmann family. My gg grandmother, Johanna Brinkmann, emigrated with her mother (Anna) and her brothers (William and Frederick) in 154 when she was 22 years old.

Johanna married Carl Bluhm in Michigan City, IN 1856. It's said they were the first German couple married in the city.
